This cocktail was inspired by Everyday People Cafe, where I have spent many hours Living on a Lark!. We have been nearly snowed in, spent glittery New Year’s Eves, eaten bowls and bowls of steaming risotto, and taught our kids how to eat mussels at this sweet local restaurant. Cheers to you, EPC!
Serves 20 (in a rocks glass filled with ice)
5 c Pear Vodka (I like Grey Goose or Absolut)9 c (about three bottles) Dry Sparkling Wine1 ½ c St. Germain LiqueurAromatic Bitters (by the drop, on the side)
Combine Vodka and St. Germain in a gallon jug. Immediately before serving, add the Sparkling Wine and transfer the mixture to a serving container. Serve over ice with bitters nearby -- add about 4 drops per glass (more or less based on preference -- but I like 4!)
French Pear for One
Serves one (in a rocks glass filled with ice)
2 T Pear Vodka½ c Sparkling Wine2 t St. Germain Liqueur4 drops Aromatic Bitters
In a rocks glass combine Vodka, Wine, Liqueur, and Bitters. Stir with vigor and sit back and ENJOY EVERY SIP.
