Before kids arrived on our scene, we stayed at The Tides Riviera Maya. Their margarita was strong and true -- it is one cocktail that I will never forget! Here’s my version of it:
Week 13 • 2 February 2017
Serves 20 (in a 10 oz. rocks glass filled halfway with ice)
8 1/2 c tequila blanco4 ¼ c bottled key west lime juice3 ¼ c agave nectar3 limes, halved and sliced thin
Combine all ingredients except lime slices in a gallon container, stir vigorously until the agave nectar dissolves, and serve. This drink is delicious served with a lot of ice and a slice of lime in a rocks glass.
